Throughout The BFF Festival, we watched conversations begin with scent and unfold into stories—about childhood memories, favourite places, travels, and moments people hadn't thought about in years.

Those conversations became our favourite part of the weekend.

Over the course of the festival, Bentala welcomed visitors into a space where fragrance became more than something to smell—it became a way to reconnect with places, memories, and one another.

Amid the vibrant atmosphere of the festival, we invited people to slow down and experience fragrances inspired by Indonesia's landscapes, traditions, and stories. From longtime supporters of Bentala to those discovering us for the first time, every visitor brought a different perspective, curiosity, and personal journey.

These encounters reminded us that fragrance is rarely just about preference. More often, it becomes a conversation—one that begins with scent and quietly unfolds into something much more personal.

A Sensory Journey Through Indonesia

Every Bentala fragrance begins with a place.

Throughout the weekend, visitors explored landscapes across Indonesia through scent. Some were immediately drawn to the brightness of Ocean Vista, inspired by the open horizon of Kelingking Beach. Others lingered over the quiet depth of Sacred Summit, finding comfort in its warm spices, soft violet florals, and grounding woods.

There was never a right or wrong choice.

Only the fragrance that resonated with someone's own story.

Watching people discover a scent that felt unexpectedly familiar reminded us why we create fragrances in the first place—not simply to be worn, but to become companions to the journeys, memories, and moments that shape us.

A First Glimpse of What's Next

One of the highlights of the weekend was sharing an exclusive preview of our upcoming fragrance, inspired by Bali's daily offering ritual, Canang Sari.

More than a fragrance, it is a reflection on gratitude, presence, and the quiet rituals that bring meaning to everyday life. Inspired by delicate floral offerings placed each morning across Bali, the fragrance unfolds through a luminous floral bouquet, fresh green nuances, and warm woods that linger gently on the skin.

But perhaps the most beautiful part was watching everyone experience it differently.

Some were reminded of Bali's offerings and temple rituals.

Others found delicate white florals, soft powdery notes, or simply a feeling of calm they couldn't quite explain.

Perhaps that is what makes fragrance so personal.

The same scent can tell a different story to everyone who encounters it.

Another quiet milestone from the weekend was introducing a preview of our upcoming 15ml travel size.
